The main fireplace in the living room with the vaulted ceilings is a wood burning fireplace and you CAN use that one Please make sure to put the address into your phone BEFORE you leave; cell service is VERY spotty near the home Per Jefferson County Rules, ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES OUTSIDE - there is a $500 fine. IMPORTANT: 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended in winter months. Our contract with the snow plowing company states that plows will be deployed only once 6” of snow has accumulated on the roads. We will not be able to send someone until then. Reservations may be subject to extra guest fees, as well as additional charges for optional services such as adding pets or requesting early check-ins.

House Rules

Per Jefferson County Rules, ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES OUTSIDE - or there is a $500 fine.  1) If you are driving - feel free to park in the driveway or in the garage 2) Please be careful on the public road. Mind speed limits and be aware that weather conditions can make it dangerous. Please take your time and be courteous of others who live in the area. 3) Quiet hours in the neighborhood are 10p-7a.  4) We are on a septic - pls do NOT throw anything other than Toilet Paper down the toilet; and no food products in the kitchen sink 5) As a reminder please note the ONLY fireplace that is operable is the living room fireplace (please make sure the flute is open)... The smaller units (in basement and in primary suite) are not operable. 6) Fire extinguishers are located on the main floor in the kitchen and next to the main fireplace, in the loft on the second floor, in the mud room of the basement, and next to the firewood pile outdoors. 7) No smoking allowed on the premises
